Absorption if water and mineral salt in plant take place across the plant root. Absorption if water and mineral salt in the plant root follow the following paths;

a. Apoplast Pathway; Observed water and mineral salt move between adjacent cell across cell wall. Solution doesn’t enter cytoplasm or vacule of the root cell.

b. Symplast pathway; Observed water and mineral salt pass across cytoplasm if adjacent plasmodesmata to the other cell of the root.

c. Vascular pathway; observed water and mineral salt observed by the root pass through vacoule of adjacent cell. The solution able tobpass across cell wall and cytoplasm of plant.
